Reflecting on my brother’s last few days. Three things were important to him: family, air and a little bit of water. That’s it. You’ve never heard a person be so thankful for something so simple.
Illustrations on how I am dealing with my own grief.

Reflecting on my brother’s last few days. Three things were important to him: family, air and a little bit of water. That’s it. You’ve never heard a person be so thankful for something so simple.

As time goes by, I realize that this grief is as much about learning myself and my feelings as about trying to fill or cover the hole left by my brother’s passing.

I find that this grief is less defined as it was when it was a dark mass that demanded my attention. It seems more like a series of rainy days and sometimes rumbling thunderstorms.
