I love music, and yet, nothing impacts my emotions more effectively and consistently. I hear a great song that reminds me of a happy time and that makes me feel sad. Grief is weird.

Affirmation
I decided early on that these posts would not be “how-to” or even try to be inspirational. I realize now that they have become a place of affirmation for me. “Look at my grief, is it ok? Am I doing this right? Is this what it should look like?”
