There have been a couple of things that have made a huge difference for me on this journey: A consistent time, daily, to work through my emotions. A blank page to articulate my feelings. I like to illustrate them.There are more things, but these two have been instrumental for me.

I’ve learned that not everyone should have access to your grief. Grief has to be protected from bitterness.
At the beginning of this grief, I had to sit and wait for overwhelming feelings to pass. Now I’m getting more of these pauses, not waiting for something to pass, just resting mentally.
