Note to Self

When my brother passed, I decided I would be intentional about my own life and how I spend my time. Then the mountains turned into rolling hills. One seems like the next, so much like the previous. Note to self: Don’t get complacent.

Empathy

I am finding, as I travel this road of grief, that the most valuable thing I am able to give and receive to and from other travelers, is the gift of empathy. To be able to say, and hear, “I feel you.”
