I am finding, as I travel this road of grief, that the most valuable thing I am able to give and receive to and from other travelers, is the gift of empathy. To be able to say, and hear, “I feel you.”

The more I actually engage with it, the more I am convinced that grief is the hardest part of love.
Tunnel
Sometimes the lonely parts feel like I’m walking through a tunnel, and no one knows what I’m feeling, thinking or going through. When I step out of the tunnel for that brief moment, I see the other tunnels.
