Balance

Balance. These last few weeks I’ve been trying to find this balance of acknowledging my grief, being thankful for the love I have given and received from my brother, and taking the next step.

Affirmation

I decided early on that these posts would not be “how-to” or even try to be inspirational. I realize now that they have become a place of affirmation for me. “Look at my grief, is it ok? Am I doing this right? Is this what it should look like?”

Layers

I learned in DBT therapy a few years ago that my feelings, though real, may not always be true.
